GRAFFITI
Graffiti (singular: graffiti, the plural is used as a mass noun) is the name of images or letters scratched, scrawled, painted or marked in any way on the property. Graffiti is any type of audience that the markings may appear in forms written in simple to elaborate wall paintings. Graffiti has existed since ancient times, with examples dating back to ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. In modern times, spray paint, paint and markers have become the standard material most commonly used. In most countries, property disfiguring graffiti without the consent of the owner of the property is considered vandalism, which is punishable by law. Sometimes graffiti is employed to communicate social messages and policies. For some it is an art form worthy of display in galleries and exhibitions and others is simply vandalism. The graffiti has since evolved into a life of pop culture often associated with the underground music hip hop and B-Boying create a lifestyle that remains hidden from the public. Graffiti is used as a signal band to mark its territory or to serve as an indicator or "tag" for gang activity. The controversy surrounding graffiti continue creating a disagreement between city officials and law enforcement and graffiti artists seek to expose their works in public places. There are many different types and styles of graffiti and is an art form in full swing, whose value is highly contested, being reviled by many authorities while also subject to protection, sometimes within the same jurisdiction .
